BASICS
Belfast International is located 14 miles (22 km) northwest of the center of Belfast. The airport travel information desk is open from 9:30 A.M. to 8 P.M. The map on the airport's Web site offers useful information:
TAXI
Fares are metered and will be about 16-18 British pound ($24-27). Travel time to the center of Belfast is about 25 to 40 minutes. Only taxis approved by the Airport Authority are permitted to use the taxi rack outside the arrivals building.
AIRBUS
An AIRBUS runs between the airport and Belfast City Center every 30 minutes from 5:45 A.M. to 11:20 P.M., Monday through Saturday. On Sundays the bus runs every 60 minutes. All days, the fare is 4.50 British pound ($7).
RENTAL CAR
Avis, Godfrey Davis, Europcar, and Hertz have counters at the airport. Time permitting, a ride through the lush Northern Ireland countryside is worth the expense of a rental car.
